A Dog Makes a House a Home...

There is just something about having a dog in your house - that truly makes it feel like a home.  Maybe that's just me - but when you grow up ALWAYS having a dog around to lay at your feet and then go without you really miss that unconditional love!

I have had some of the most amazing dogs in my life - Saber, Jeepers, Bubba, Sandy, Lady, Red, Ghost and now our newest addition Bailey.  She is the sweetest and calmest Yellow Lab I have ever meet.  The boys are just head over heals for her.  Once a former outside dog she now enjoys the comforts of the indoor life (when we are home).  I can admit it here - I think I wanted her just as much if not more than the boys did.

Summer School...

What 4 year old do you know that loves Summer School?  The answers is Austin!!! This mommy just hope his loves for shcool continiues all the way to College. 

This is the second summer Austin has gotten to be a Buddy with a Special Services Teacher at GCSID - more importantly he's at school with his GiGi.  He is having so much fun - and can not wait to go each day. 

Lunch has turned into something I enjoy hearing about each day - after all he is my chi;d afterall! He sticks to mostly, chicken, rice, fries and hot dogs.  So when I get a message and a picture like this:


We have so loved having Austin with us this Summer. 

He ate 1/2 of his hamburger today!!!!

Swim Lessons Come To A End...

The boys have just finished a two week session of swim lessons.  They started off with no skill, other than putting their heads under water and ended being able to do the "Dog Paddle."  I am very proud of the progress they made this summer!

Sink or Swim...

Well the boys have officially started Swim Lessons! We are only two days in and they seems to be having a great time! They are definitely my children - they love to be in the water! I just hope they pick up some basic skills this summer - other than jumping off the side and require you to catch them.  I know GiGi will be very thankful - since she is the one who does most of the catching.
